Parrikar also said that houses constructed before February 28, 2014, could be covered under the scheme.
The Goa state budget which was presented today on the floor of the House proposed registration of unauthorised houses by enacting a proper regulation.
Parrikar said that the state expects to earn Rs 100 crore, which is additional resource mobilisation, through various licence fees to regularise these houses.
"As a one-time relief measure to settle the issue of unauthorised construction of houses, my government proposes to bring about regulations to regularise houses constructed without due authority," he said in his budget speech today.
This scheme would cover occupants of houses who are either owners, co-owners or those holding occupancy rights over the house or having irrevocable no objection certificate from owners.
