General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Command, Lt Gen M M Naravane has expressed satisfaction at operational preparedness of the Spear Corps in Dimapur and complimented the troops for their hard work and dedication, a defence spokesman said on Friday.
During his two-day visit to the state, the GoC-in-C reviewed the security situation in the North Eastern states and along the Line of Actual Control with China, Defence spokesman Col Chiranjeet Konwer said.
Gen Naravane also expressed satisfaction on the operational preparedness of the Spear Corps.
Col Konwer said the the GOC-in-C left for Kolkata on Friday afternoon.
