Gold biscuits seized from two passengers at airport
Press Trust of India Tiruchirappalli Gold biscuits worth about Rs 1.95 crore were seized today from two passengers who arrived at the airport here from Kuala Lumpur.
Acting on a tip-off, Mohammed Rafiq and Karthikeyan were arrested after air customs officials conducted a thorough search on them and found that they were hiding gold biscuits weighing 6.5 kgs in their under garments.
They were arrested and remanded to custody, airport sources said.
