Car repair and automobile servicing startup GoMechanic has raised seed funding from Orios Venture Partners and intends to use the funds to expand its operations.
The company, however, did not disclose the amount raised.
GoMechanic has raised seed funding from Orios Venture Partners and angel investor Dhianu Das, a company release said, adding the funds will be used for expanding partnerships with car service centres and for customer acquisition.
IIM Ahmedabad alumni Amit Bhasin and Kushal Karwa founded the company in 2016.
"Our goal is to give car owners a seamless, professional yet affordable experience when they seek out repair and maintenance services," GoMechanic co-founder Amit Bhasin said adding, this capital gives additional resources to expand, innovate and deliver rapidly towards covering entire NCR.
"The consistent deployment of technology and vision towards organising an un-organised industry such as the auto spare and services market makes them good partners for us," Rehan Yar Khan, Managing Partner, Orios Venture Partners said.
GoMechanic is a technology enabled branded network of service centres and promises original spare parts, warranty on services and free pick and drop facility.
"The potential of this industry is immense and given their disruptive idea and effective execution," Angel Investor Dhianu Das said.
