'Good governance, transparency outcome of digitisation'

Digitisation has been instrumental in quality employment, good governance and financial inclusion and led to transparency in service, Rajasthan Industry Minister Rajpal Singh has said.
"Owing to IT and digitisation, life is not only changing fast, but is also ensuring quality employment, good governance and financial inclusion," Singh said.
Speaking at the 'Digital Rajasthan Conclave' here, Singh referred to the challenge of 'limited empowerment' in which people who had access to technology were not using it effectively because of lack of skills.
"This gap must be filled," he stressed. The conclave was organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).

Director General of STPI Omkar Rai said STPI has two units in Rajasthan.
Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation's (RIICO) MD Mugdha Sinha and others were present.
