The government is learnt to have cleared the appointments of the chief justices of the Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana high courts.
Patna High Courtjudge, Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi has been elevated as the Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court, sources in the government said.
Chhattisgarh High Court Chief JusticeT B Radhakrishnan has been transferred as the head of the Andhra Pradesh-Telangana High Court, they said.
Collegium had cleared their names early this year.
Justice Ramesh Ranganathan is the acting chief justice of the Andhra Pradesh-Telangana High Court.
