Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath today said government must impound the passport of beleaguered industrialist Vijay Mallya.
Talking to PTI after a convocation function at a private institute here, the former Union minister took a jibe at the Centre and said nobody knows "how many passports Mallya might be possessing".
He alleged that government helped him flee from the country and demanded that action be initiated to bring him back.
While lenders have stepped up their efforts to recover dues totalling over Rs 9,000 crore, Mallya left the country earlier this month.
Executive vice-chairman of Kotak Mahindara Bank Uday Kotak and the chief guest of the convocation conferred PGDM diplomas to 722 students of IMT Institute.
