The National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) will act as a regulatory body to oversee quality of education and research in homoeopathy for overall growth of Indian Systems of Medicine, member of Parliamentary Standing Committee of AYUSH ministry and health and family welfare Manoj Rajoria said.
"It will have four boards, one each for regulation of under graduate and postgraduate courses, accreditation and assessment of institutes and regulation of the practice of the profession," he said on the concluding day of the two-day Convention on World Homoeopathy Day.
Speaking at the convention, Union Minister of State for AYUSH, Shripad Yesso Naik, said his Ministry is committed to bring to surface more evidence in AYUSH and validate these systems through internationally recognised means.
Lauding the CCRH for its contribution in homoeopathy research, he said it has not only brought more recognition to homoeopathy, but also opened the eyes of scientists to take up more research in under-explored links between homoeopathy and nano-science, genomics and others.
On the occasion, for the first time, CCRH presented awards to incentivise the contributors in the field of Homoeopathy research.
