Gurjit Singh, Art and Craft teacher posted at Saraspur Government High School, was suspended this evening after the girls lodged a complaint that he passed some lewd comments, the Gurdaspur District Education Officer Amarjit Singh Saini told reporters here.
He said that Deputy DEO Santokh Singh has conducted an inquiry into the complaint and teacher was found guilty and hence was suspended immediately.
A department action has been taken against him, Saini added.
