Greater Noida Authority approves Rs 7,074 crore budget

Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority board today approved budget of Rs 7,074 crore.
The authority has earmarked Rs 3,700 crore for land compensation, Rs 1,295 crore for development work, Rs 25 crore for Night Safari project, Rs 10 crore for heliport, Rs 50 crore for convention centre, Rs 50 crore for Gautam Buddha University, Rs 25 crore for eco park, Rs 210 crore for the development of villages.
The convention centre is proposed at knowledge park 2 on 31 acre land.
Among others, Rs 50 crore has been proposed for Noida Greater Noida metro project. The authority has also approved 14.09 acre land transfer for depot and sporting activities.
