Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd (GRSE) on Monday said 22 projects are in various stages of construction, with an order book of Rs 27,500 crore.
These ships were expected to be delivered to the Indian Navy and the Indian Coast Guard, a GRSE statement said.
Meanwhile, the sixth of the class of eight Landing Craft Utility (LCU) was commissioned during the day at Vishakapatnam by vice-admiral Atul Kumar Jain, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command.
The shipbuilder will focus on export of warships and incorporation of latest technologies (artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics) in various areas of operations to improve internal efficiencies and profit margins, the statement added.
