At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, guarseed 10 metric-tonne delivery for the most-active October contracts was trading higher by Rs 43 or 1.22 per cent to Rs 3,582 per quintal with an open interest of 1,04,060 lots.
On similar lines, delivery in November contracts up by Rs 42 or 1.17 per cent to Rs 3,624 per quintal, having an open interest of 11,750 lots.
Marketmen said fresh positions created by speculators, driven by a firming trend at the spot markets on robust demand amid restricted supplis, supported the upside in guargseed prices at futures trade here.
