Gujarat tribals to get best health, education facilities: CM

Gujarat Government was committed to providing best possible healthcare services and educational facilities to people in remote tribal regions of the state, Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today said.
"My Government is committed to provide best health-care facilities and modern education in remote tribal regions of Gujarat," Patel said.
She was speaking after inaugurating a 120-bed hospital in Dharampur, a tribal-dominated taluka in Valsad district, about 330 km from here, on the occasion of World Population Day.
The hospital has been built at a cost of Rs 23 crore.
Sharing details of schemes on health and education launched by her government, she said both sectors play vital role in development of our society.

The BJP government is willing to provide quality medical facilities in remote tribal areas free-of-cost to make Gujarat a healthy state, she said.
The Chief Minister said the government also wants to open a college in Dharampur to widen scope of education among tribal communities.
Meanwhile, Patel performed ground-breaking ceremony of Tithal-Nashik Road and also dedicated Dharampur and Kaparada police quarters and an underground drainage scheme during her visit to the tribal area.
