Sudesh Kumar Bhandari, former BJP district president of SC/ST wing in Kathua, and Choudhry Khushal Ahmed, president Gujjar Students Association of Kathua joined NC today, a party spokesman said.
Bhandari and Ahmed pledged to further strengthen NC at grass-root level in the district, saying a strong party alone can meet the aspirations of youth and steer the state to peace, progress and development.
Welcoming Bhandari and Ahmed, the NC president Farooq Abdullah said the party has all along provided platform to young people so that they can play their role in shaping the destiny of the state.
