Gur closes flat in Delhi, drops in Muzaffarnagar

Steady conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today owing in the absence of worthwhile activity.
On the other hand, in Muzaffarnagar, gur khurpa and laddoo prices fell by Rs 50 per quintal on increased supplies from manufacturing areas.
Marketmen said increased arrivals amid scattered demand, mainly pulled down gur prices in Muzaffarnagar.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur Khurpa prices moved down by Rs 50 to settle at Rs.2,150-2,250 per quintal.
Prices of Laddoo also drifted by Rs 50 at Rs 2,300-2,400er quintal.
