However, gur laddo in Muzzagarnagar, moved up on selective buying by stockists amid restricted arrivals from producing areas.
Marketmen said some buying by stockists against limited arrivals from producing areas mainly led to the rise in laddo prices.
At Muzzafarnagar, gur laddo edged up to Rs 2,375-2,525 from previous level of Rs 2,300-2,400 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,500-2,600, pedi Rs 2,450-2,550, dhayya Rs 2,600-2,700 and shakkar Rs 2,700-2,800.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,100-2,150 and dhayya Rs 2,150-2,200.
