The 43-year-old Oscar winner, who loves acupuncture, got stung by bees, reported People magazine.
"I'm always the guinea pig to try everything. I've got to try them all. Generally, I'm open to anything. I've been stung by bees," Paltrow said.
The mother of two went on to give details about the therapy.
"It's a thousands of years old treatment called apitherapy. People use it to get rid of inflammation and scarring. It's actually pretty incredible if you research it. But, man, it's painful."
The process involves getting stung dozens of times by bees, and claims to promote circulation, decrease red, swollen areas and even relieve arthritis.
