Gyanendra Tripathi appointed PS to Rural Development minister

IAS officer Gyanendra Dev Tripathi was today appointed as Private Secretary to Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Drinking Water and Sanitation Minister Chaudhary Birender Singh.
Tripathi is a 1998 batch IAS officer of Assam Meghalaya cadre.
He has been appointed for a period of five years or on co-terminus basis with the Minister's tenure, said an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training.
