Hajipur railway station vandalised by mob

Irked by the death of a man after a train hit him, a mob today vandalised the Hajipur Junction railway station, police said.
Mohammad Naem Kadri (50) was killed when a train dashed against him as he was crossing the track at the station.
Soon after, a mob started pelting stones on a stationary train, threw oxygen cylinders on track and smashed window panes at the station with sticks, police said.
On receiving information about the incident, district police and Government Rail Police rushed to spot and brought situation under control.
