The 27-year-old "The Equalizer" actress will join the likes of Emily Blunt and Rebecca Ferguson in the Tate Taylor directorial venture, reported Variety.
Based on Paula Hawkins' bestselling novel, the story revolves around a woman (Blunt) broken by her recent divorce who spends her travel fantasying about a seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day.
But on her way she get caught in a mystery circling around the married couple and another woman and spins out of control.
Marc Platt will produce the film adapted by Erin Cressida Wilson.
