Half-burnt bodies of woman, son recovered

Half-burnt bodies of a woman and her two-year-old son were found from a locked room at Tinigharia locality here.
The deceased, identified as one Meenakshi Dalai (28), had been staying here with her husband for past four years.
The husband, Laxman Dalai (30), has been detained.
"We are waiting for the post-mortem report and the report of the scientific team", local police inspector J K Dalai said adding father of the deceased woman had made a written complaint alleging her daughter was tortured by her in-laws for dowry.
"Of late, the couple were seen frequently quarrelling," neighbours said.
