Sony Pictures has closed a deal with Halsey to develop a film which will be loosely based on the singer's life.
The 23-year old singer, who is currently on tour in Australia for her 'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom' world tour, will also star in the project.
According to Deadline, the film might be along the lines of "8 Mile", the movie which featured Eminem and was loosely based on the rapper's early music career in Detroit.
Halsey will also appear in an upcoming remake of "A Star is Born", along with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
