Haryana BJP MLA's relative dies in road mishap

A close relative of Kalka's MLA Latika Sharma died in a road mishap on National Highway No 72 near Naraingarh today, police said.
Poonam (36), along with her son, was on way to Naraingarh, when driver allegedly lost control over the vehicle near Bada Gaon and it skidded into a drain, they said.
Poonam died on the spot while her son Manthan (19) who sustained serious injuries was referred to PGI, Chandigarh, they said.
Poonam was daughter-in-law of the elder brother of Latika's husband, police said.
Latika, who is considered close to Union Minister Sushma Swaraj, is first time BJP MLA from Kalka assembly seat.
