The state government would come out with a number of schemes for the welfare of the poor sections of the society, Khattar told reporters here.
He said emphasis would also be laid on generating maximum employment opportunities for the youth.
Khattar, who completed two years in office today, said the outgoing year was dedicated to Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya and coincided with the Golden Jubilee formation year of the state, carved out of Punjab in 1966.
"Out of these, 1,200 announcements have either been completed or work on them is in progress," he added.
The work on remaining the 800 announcements is also in progress and the would be completed next year, Khattar said.
He claimed that he has provided good governance while making efforts to ensure transparency. Also, efforts have been made to streamline the systems which were creating problems for the people.
Khattar also directed the police to open legal aid clinics
He also stressed the need to conduct awareness camps at 8,500 places across the State to educate people about legal aid and processes.
Emphasising on the need to reform the system so that the people do not feel oppressed by the law, Khattar said that police personnel and staff manning these desks and clinics should be provided soft skill training to sensitise them, the release said.
The Chief Minister also directed the officers concerned to prepare plan for promoting Aadhaar-enabled payment system in the State, besides directing Information, Public Relations and Languages Department to implement state-wide mass awareness campaign for promoting cashless transactions.
It was also decided that revised fee and standard operating procedures would be implemented for all Registering and Licensing Authorities (RLAs) and Regional Transport Authorities in the State from April 1, it said.
Automated fitness centres for vehicles would be set up in a cluster-wise manner. A model centre has already been established at Rohtak, and this would soon be inaugurated by the Chief Minister. Facilitation desks would also be set up at e-Disha centres and single window would be created for all payments.
As per the data analysis, the number of complaints disposed of within 60 days have increased to 60 per cent since weekly review meetings have started as compared to 30-40 per cent complaints disposed earlier, the release said.
As many as 88 per cent of complaints received overall in 2016 have so far been disposed. As many as six districts have disposed of 90 per cent or more complaints.
