The division bench of Chief Justice P C Tatia and Justice Jaya Roy issued the directions to deploy CRPF or CISF personnel after hearing a PIL filed by Bar Association of Jharkhand.

The petitioner submitted that construction materials were allegedly being taken away by some people and work was stopped.

The court would hear the matter in December.

The villagers were opposing acquisition of land and on July 4 they clashed with the police over the land after the government's proposal to build institutions like Indian Institute of Medical Sciences, Law University and Indian Institute of Technology at Nagri.
