HCL Learning forays into Nepal, Middle East & Africa

Bullish on the multi-billion global education sector, HCL Learning today said it has forayed into international markets, including Nepal, the Middle East and Africa to offer customised content in these regions.
HCL Learning, a wholly owned subsidiary of IT firm HCL Infosystems, will offer K-12 content in these markets in partnership with local educational service providers and schools.
"We are working with our stakeholders for enhancing and improving educational capabilities. At HCL Learning, we develop solutions based on thorough market research, feedback and analysis and with our set of tailored offerings, we are well-entrenched for robust growth into overseas markets," HCL Learning President Chetan Mahajan said.

The company's flagship product 'DigiSchool' has been introduced in 11 international schools in Middle East and Africa.
"This interactive classroom solution of HCL Learning would benefit more than 22,000 students. Some of the prominent schools we have tied up with include DPS Ghana, Indian Language School Nigeria, DPS Academy Dubai, Indian School - Al Wadi Al Kabir and Euro School in Nepal," he said.
Mahajan added that the company already offers solutions to over 4,000 schools and 4 million students in India.
HCL Learning has a content development centre in Mumbai, which has 130 full-time resources in its skill-group based development team for developing custom content and K-12 products content.

The curriculum, instructional and visual design teams work with educationists, industry experts and consultants like ex-NCERT professionals for evaluating and updating the curriculum on the basis of market and customer feedback.
