A head constable was arrested by the Rajasthan Anti Corruption Bureau for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 7,000 in Banswara district on Friday.

The accused head constable, Babar Khan, posted with Kushalgarh police station, had demanded the bribe from one Buddhi Lal for helping in a case of motorcycle theft lodged against him.

After verification of the complaint, a trap was laid and the accused was held while accepting the bribe amount, an ACB official said.
