Headless body of the victim, identified as Firdaus (18), was recovered from the field by its owner in Thoti village this morning, when the latter has gone to get fodder, Superintendent of Police Dinesh Chandra Dubey said.
Efforts were being made to trace the head of the girl and the matter was being investigated, the SP added.
