Crops and vegetables like grape, onion, wheat, pomegranate, tomato and green pea in Nashik, Kalwan, Chandvad, Devla, Malegaon, Sinnar and Niphad tehsil towns were affected in the latest round of unseasonal rains and hailstorms.
Ten people have died so far in rain-related incidents in the North Maharashtra district, which is facing the wrath of the twin natural occurrences since the beginning this month, official sources said.
Livestocks and cattle have also perished, while several houses have suffered damage.
A Cental team arrived here yesterday to assess damage and visited the adjoining Dhule district, they said.
