The accused Mandeep Singh, and his brother Sandeep Bhatti, residents of Garhshankar, were travelling in a car when they were intercepted at a special check post near Badesron village. During search, police found heroin wrapped in a polythene sheet from the accused, Hoshiarpur SSP Sushil Kumar said.
Police seized 810 gram heroin, one .315 bore pistol along with two live cartridges and the car they were travelling in.
A case under NDPS Act has been registered against the duo in Mahilpur police station.
