Heroin seized from youth in Mizoram

Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department officials have seized 27 gram of heroin, worth around Rs one lakh, in Mizoram-Myanmar border town of Champhai, a department spokesman said here today.
The contraband was found from a youth who was arrested after the seizure last night.
The seized heroin was reportedly smuggled from Myanmar.
The arrested youth was booked under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
