Head constables Joginder Singh and Phuman Singh and a woman were among six persons arrested in connection with the seizure, SSP Inderbir Singh said here.
Both the policemen were allegedly involved in trafficking of heroin and had been sacked, he said.
A police team intercepted two cars and seized over 1.2 kg of heroin during search of the vehicles, the SSP said.
The drug was valued at more than Rs six crore in the international market.
