"Narendra Modi campaigned in Haryana and urged people to make NDA victorious and at the same time, Parkash Singh Badal sought votes to defeat the NDA. What should the voters do. This cannot be tolerated," according to a letter written by Bishnoi to senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani.
SAD chief and Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and his Deputy Sukhbir Singh Badal had canvassed for the candidates of INLD in Haryana.
While the Punjab Chief Minister had maintained that he had family relations with Chautala family and his campaign to seek votes for the INLD was in the knowledge of the senior BJP leadership, adding that the main motive of the campaign was to make Narendra Modi as the next prime minister.
"SAD should be thrown out of the NDA otherwise it will send a wrong message throughout the country that for vested political interests such people are in the NDA," Bishnoi said.
He said SAD leaders had canvassed for candidates of the INLD at a time when BJP-led NDA's nationwide campaign was centred around corruption.
Bishnoi, younger son of former Haryana Chief Minister late Bhajan Lal, was pitted against Chautala Sr's grandson Dushyant Chautala, from Hisar Lok Sabha seat.
The HJC leader yesterday shot off a strongly-worded letter to Advani and sought action against Badals for "violating" NDA's alliance code.
Polling for all the 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana was held on April 10. While Bishnoi is seeking re-election from Hisar, his party has fielded candidate from Sirsa constituency and the remaining eight seats were fought by the ally BJP.
