A bike-borne home guard jawan was crushed to death by an unidentified vehicle in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district on Friday morning, police said.
The incident happened near Gobarsahi Chowk on National Highway-28 under the jurisdiction of Muzaffarpur Sadar Police Station, a police officer said.
The man was killed on the spot, Sadar Police Station Sub-Inspector Vijay Kumar Singh said.
The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Mani Bhushan Kumar, the police officer said, adding, the home guard jawan was the resident of Damodarpur village of the district.
The body has been sent to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) in Muzaffarpur for post-mortem examination, Singh said.
