The decision, announced by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today while presiding over a meeting of the Health Department here, would benefit about 19,000 ASHAs and cost the state an additional Rs 12 crore, an official release said.
The ASHAs would be entitled to the enhanced honorarium every month in which they earn incentive of Rs 1,000 or above. If the earned incentive in a month is less than Rs 1,000, they would get an amount equal to it as monthly incentive, it said.
It was also decided that the ASHAs would continue to get Rs 200 per delivery for facilitating institutional delivery of general category women in government hospitals.
