The Haryana Police Wednesday arrested three men for allegedly plotting to execute a robbery in Jind district of the state.
Five pistols, along with 11 live cartridges, were seized from them, a police spokesman said.
He said the trio was nabbed following inputs that they were plotting to carry out a robbery at gun-point at Hamirgarh road in the Narwana area of the district.
They were identified as Vipin alias Shooter, a resident of Nanheri village of Fatehabad district, Lakhwinder Singh of Jhandia Kalan village, Punjab, and Gurpreet Singh, a native of Miyanpur, Punjab, the spokesman said.
During preliminary interrogation, it was revealed that the trio was involved in various criminal activities and cases were also registered against them in different police stations, he said.
