HUL Q2 net jumps 11.54% to Rs 1,095.6 crore

FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) today reported an 11.54 per cent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 1,095.6 crore for the second quarter ended September.
The company had posted net profit of Rs 982.17 crore in the July-September quarter of 2015-16.
HUL's total income from operations went up by 1.57 per cent to Rs 8,480.26 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 8,348.6 crore a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 842.80, up 1.29 per cent, on BSE.
