Hundreds of passengers heading to Germany on Condor Airlines were stuck at Portland International Airport in Oregon for nearly 24 hours after an electrical smell forced the crew to stay put.
The Oregonian reports (http://bit.Ly/1ejLL3X ) that the German-based leisure airline issued a statement saying the flight to Frankfurt was delayed Tuesday night until Wednesday.
The flight was rescheduled to take off at 11:45 a.M. Wednesday, but an airport official says the flight didn't depart until after 3:30 p.M.
Condor apologized for not providing hotel accommodations for the passengers, but said they were provided with pillows and blankets.
PDX provided the stranded passengers with food vouchers and toiletry kits.
But Condor passenger Jessica Dvorak said no amount of money would bring back her family vacation time.
