"I appeal to both the nations to have patience and observe immediate ceasefire on the LoC. It is imperative to stop killing of people living along the LoC," Mirwaiz said here.
The Hurriyat chairman said Kashmir issue cannot be resolved through military means and only a meaningful dialogue can help in addressing it.
"Kashmir dispute can only be solved through meaningful dialogue and political resolve among all the stake holders for which Hurriyat is ready to play its role," he said.
"Kashmir being the core issue should be solved through dialogue in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiris," he said.
