Lionel Richie has expressed his desire to duet with Adele after fans called for the pair to do a mash-up of their hits "Hello".
Richie, who is due to be the recipient of an all-star tribute at the Grammy's after being honoured with the 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year, doubts that it will come to fruition.
"I don't think so," he told Entertainment Tonight.
"This is going to be her evening to shine. I think that she would probably not want to share the stage too much, although I would personally think that would be great!"
Adele has 10 Grammy Award wins to her name since her debut album 19 was released in 2008, and won all six awards she was nominated for at the ceremony in 2012, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
