The 42-year-old actor played Jake, a struggling alcoholic in the BBC soap from 2013-14 and also made a guest appearance during a flashback episode for the show's 30th anniversary in 2015.
"I'd love to go back to EastEnders. I had an amazing time with the people there. I still have some fantastic friends there," Lomas tells The Daily Star.
The actor says he is game for re-exploring Jake's character.
"I had such a fantastic character to play. When you're playing someone with a drinking problem, you have to do it justice for the people who are suffering.
