Andhra Pradesh Congress chief Botcha Satyanarayana today said here that he supported united Andhra Pradesh, but would abide by the Congress high command's decision on the issue.
Addressing a press conference, to a question on the long-pending Telangana statehood issue, he said it should not be politicised.
"Though I am in favour of united Andhra, it is my responsibility to respect the decisions of the Congress high command," he said.
He also claimed that Congress will retain power in the 2014 Assembly polls as people had confidence in the party. Results of the Panchayat Raj elections indicated as much, he said.
