Talking to reporters in Hamirpur today, Singh said all cases against him and his family were fabricated and concocted byformer chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and Union Finance MinisterArun Jaitely.

CBI had become a tool in the hands of BJP-led Centre to target its opponents and had lost its credibility, he said.

Earlier today, the Supreme Court transferred from Himachal Pradesh High Court to Delhi High Court a plea filed by Virbhadra Singh in a disproportionate assets case.

Seeking the transfer of the case out of Himachal Pradesh, the CBI hadalleged that the judge, who had stopped them from arresting Virbhadraand his wife, had been his lawyer earlier.

A bench led by Justice F M I Kalifulla, however, chose to steer clear ofthe controversy and said that the matter should be heard by the Delhi High Court "in the interest of justice".

The Chief Minister, who came to Hamirpur to take part in the statelevel Hamir festival, noted that a recent meeting of the Governor Acharya Devvrat with the senior officials was against the democratic norms and said the Governor was acting like a British Monarch.

He should act as aconstitutional head and devote his full time towards that, Singh said, ruing that the Governor had yet not given his assent tothe HP Sports Bill that was aimed at controlling sports bodies inhands of a particular group.

He said that at present more than eightypercent of sports bodies had been hijacked by BJP MP and Dhumal's son Anurag Thakur and familyand that was why, the Governor was sitting on the Bill.
