The 41-year-old turned to Rastafarianism following a spiritual trip to Jamaica last year and he believes the world really needs another Marley right now, reported The Rolling Stones magazine.
"When Bob Marley passed away, his music and his message spread, but there was no one to take the baton and continue the way he lived, the way he spoke to the people with power and love. I feel like I'm Bob Marley reincarnated," said Snoop.
The singer changed his name from Snoop Dogg to Snoop Lion after he was rechristened by a Rastafarian priest in Jamaica.
