Two weeks after Demi Lovato was hospitalised following an overdose, the singer has spoken out about her battle with addiction, saying she needed "time to heal and focus on my sobriety".
Lovato, 25, wrote in an Instgram post that she has learned her addiction "is not something that disappears or fades with time."
"Without them I wouldn't be here writing this letter to all of you."
