Perry, 30, took to stage at the inaugural ceremony of the Super Bowl XLIX on February 1.
The singer said the experience of performing at the prestigious football championship was 'thrilling'.
"I was able to prepare for a whole month. I did it over 40 times before I actually performed," she told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet before the 57th Grammy Awards.
