"...He is a rock star, the best human being I have ever met. I truly love and respect him as a person. His contribution is great (towards my film career), his belief in me as an actor is something I could have never thought of," Pulkit, 30, told PTI in an interview here.
"His support means a lot to me. I do feel nervous at times about disappointing him. I try not to let his expectations down," he added.
"It was a great learning experience. I started my journey in this industry through TV. I never assisted anyone. So I never had the opportunity to understand and read how a star works. I am glad that with 'Jai Ho' I got the opportunity to witness this," he said.
The 'Fukrey' star said he is currently going through many interesting scripts.
"It is an exciting period I am reading several scripts," he said.
The actor, who made his debut in Bollywood with 'Bittoo Boss', appeared next in 'Fukrey' and 'Jai Ho'. His upcoming film 'O Teri' is produced by Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.
"He was concerned what kind of work was coming my way after 'Bittoo Boss' and 'Fukrey'. When I told him about this film ('O Teri') he wanted to hear the script, he liked it and eventually things fell in place," he added.
