The proposals which were assessed by the Centre for Rural Development and Technology (CRDB) at IIT Delhi will now be forwarded to National Steering Committee, to be soon formed under the aegis of Ministry of Science and Technology.
A final call on the proposals will be taken by the steering committee headed by Science and Technology Minister Harsh Vardhan.
The proposals deal with various aspects of Panchygavya and will primarily dwell into five major areas of research-- uniqueness of indigenous cows, scientific validation of the uses of the concoction in agriculture, medicine and health, food and nutrition and use of panchygavya in utility products.
The CRDB is coordinating with universities and institutions for formulation of various research and development projects for funding agencies of the government.
Incidentally, the NDA government has also instituted Science and Technology of Yoga and Meditation (SATYAM) programme to investigate the effect of Yoga and meditation on physical and mental health and body, brain, and mind in terms of basic processes and mechanisms.
