The events in the annual fest would include Geobotics
a mining-related robotics event, case studies in Mining, Petroleum and Environment, quiz events - 'Quiz Spiel' and 'Mineac, Mineindite paper presentations, an IITKGP press release said today.
Till date, 250 registrations have been received from 20 universities for the summit being organised by the Technology Mining Engineering Society (TMES), Department of Mining Engineering, IITKGP, the release said.
The US-based Master Geotech Services LLC, which is an associate of the fest, will be awarding three young high school students from Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Bhulinagar, Dhanbad, for their effort in creating a 'Mine Safety Robot' with their own resources.
The fest will also host the 'National Mining Innovation Challenge' programme.
