No incidents of theft or pick-pocketing were reported during the 14-days of the event, which witnesses a huge footfall.
"During the 14 days (of IITF-2014), more than 10,00,000 visitors used the Metro system (at Pragati Maidan).
"Only one minor incident was reported this year whereas, during 2013, three incidents of pick-pocketing and four of bag lifting had taken place," CISF spokesperson Hemendra Singh said a day after the event came to an end in the national capital.
Talking about the one minor incident this time, Singh said it related to a woman misplacing her bag although no case was registered in the matter as it was subsequently restored to its owner.
"On November 23, which was a Sunday, more than 1,60,000 people visited the station and only a minor incident was reported in which a woman misplaced her bag. The situation could not be sorted for some time as there was a delay in conveying the message to our personnel," he said.
CISF had made extraordinary arrangements at this station for the smooth movement of passengers and trade fair visitors, installing a dozen door-frame metal detectors, six X-ray baggage machines and additional CCTV cameras.
The annual trade fair was held this time between November 14-27.
Delhi Police had yesterday said they registered 165 FIRs at the venue during this year's IITF under various cognisable sections of IPC, which marks a more than five-fold increase over last year's edition.
Among the cases booked was one of molestation in which a 50-year-old man was arrested from inside a pavilion on Monday.
